Organisation for Professionals: The New Data Library
Smaart v9.2 introduced a massive update to how we store measurements. If you are still digging through Windows Explorer to find your traces, you’re doing it the hard way.
Search and Sort
You can now search for traces by name directly in the Data Bar. Type “Main” and every trace with that word appears. You can also sort by “Newest to Oldest,” which is a lifesaver when you’ve taken 50 measurements in one afternoon.
Data Archiving
Don’t let your active session get cluttered. Smaart now has a dedicated “Archive” folder. Right-click old traces and move them to the Archive—they stay in the software’s database but get tucked away out of sight. This keeps your “Live” workspace clean and focused on the task at hand.
Smaart is excellent on its own, but most users find they get much more out of it after some structured training. That’s where our seminars come in. At TZ Audio we run practical seminars, both online and in-venue. We offer seminar-only or full “all you need packages” including software & hardware. It’s simply the fastest way to become comfortable and confident with the measuring a sound system.
