iSEMcon SC-1 Acoustical Calibrator

Description

The iSEMcon SC-1 is a compact acoustical calibrator for fast and accurate verification of measurement microphones. It generates a stable 1 kHz reference tone at two selectable sound pressure levels: 94 dB and 110 dB SPL.

Designed for field and laboratory use, the SC-1 combines a stable frequency oscillator, precision transducer and integrated microphone coupler. The coupler accepts a wide range of microphone diameters, making the calibrator suitable for most common measurement microphones.

The aluminium housing ensures durability, while low temperature drift guarantees reliable calibration results across typical operating conditions. Power is supplied by a standard 9 V battery or rechargeable accumulator.
