Description
The Mellab MYc-3 is a professional measurement microphone designed for accurate acoustic measurement and sound system analysis. It is an omni-directional, pre-polarized condenser microphone with free-field frequency response and stable sensitivity.
This measurement microphone operates on standard 48 V phantom power and connects via a balanced XLR output. A positive pressure variation on the diaphragm produces a positive voltage at pin 2 of the XLR connector. This ensures correct polarity during acoustic measurement and system tuning.
The Mellab MYc-3 measurement microphone offers low self-noise and high maximum SPL capability. This makes it suitable for both low-level measurements and high sound pressure environments. Its compact size and low weight allow easy use in portable and fixed measurement setups.
